You know you're a Baby Boomer if . . .

You once had a PenPal and
1, actually hand wrote a letter
2, put it in an envelope
3, addressed the envelope
4, placed a 4 cent stamp on the envelope
5. dropped it in a mail box
6. waited 3 weeks to receive a letter back.

  1. Oh my gosh, things really have changed! Facebook , blogging, texting, tweeting, pinning, etc. I'm just learning to use computers in the last couple of years, and I ask my grandchildren to help me when I get stuck! Isn't that funny? Thank you for visiting my blog, and leaving me a thoughtful comment! 1954, my birthyear, just had my 40th HS class reunion!
I'm following your blog now! It looks great! I'm going to enjoy reading your prior posts. I think we need to figure out how to add the Linky tools gadget too, because blogs who are not Blogger blogs don't have Google Friend Connect. (a rcent change) Check out some other fun Grandma blogs, like "Grandma"s Briefs", and join some parties and you'll get lots of followers! Enjoy your precious new grandbaby! They grow up too fast! Love, Linda Oh, I just had an awful time with word verification. You really don't need that, most people won't leave a comment if they encounter that.

  2. What a wonderful post! We are trying to do things old school around here sometimes. Amara, our 8 year old granddaughter, is pen pals with her 8 year old cousin who lives on the other coast and who she has never met! My sister made them both stationary and they are having a blast!
