1st time photo challenge...

Today is my first submission to 'A Personal Photo Challenge'. The topic this month is 'Animals' and pets are included. As a new pet owner and a new photographer, I thought I'd give it a try. I just purchased   a Panasonic Lumix Z540. It has loads of features that I'm s l o w l y learning about.

I hope you enjoy my attempt at capturing the essence of the family pet.

Pets have an amazing ability to add so much to the household.

  1. What a cute little pup! And it looks like everyone in the family is in love with him. Love the one going for a walk....or is that a run? Fun photos for the challenge! And I like your blog...can't wait to look around some more! Hugs, Diane

  7. Photographing our dogs has taught me so much about photography and they are such willing subjects! Your puppy is gorgeous and you really caught his personality, love the final shot of your grandson talking him for a walk.

  15. Welcome to Donna's challenge Sharon - I know you will enjoy this monthly get together with a great group of photographers.
Your little sweetie is so cute, and I bet very cuddly. Great pics and I too love the 'boy and dog' shot of your grandson and the pup - lots of little happy legs there!
I agree about next month's challenge - 'movement' is a difficult subject - and getting out of bed mornings at this age is not as easy as it used to be either, haha!

Happy weekend - Mary in North Carolina
