Honoring Veterans

Prescott falls into the smaller rural city category. The beautiful Courthouse Building is a reminder that back in 1864 Prescott was the capital of the Arizona Territory. The original building was built in 1867, but was replaced with this courthouse in 1917.  Most city events are held around this historical site.
So as Prescott honors our veterans, we do so with a parade around the
Courthouse Square.

Finding a spot on the curb around the courthouse is the best parade viewing.
I love these home made floats.

Take a look at those beautiful fall leaves.

Even the local merchants do their part.

Miss Jr Court is decked out in red, white and blue.
